Translating the Tides

   Translating the Tides is a creative contest run by the Marine Science Institute for students in grades Kindergarten through college who participate in MSI's hands-on marine science education programs. As you will see, Translating the Tides is a wonderful opportunity for students to express what they have learned and what they want others to know about our precious marine environments. We are very proud of the students whose work is featured in these publications, as well as all of the students who participated in the contest. Each year, the decision of which entries to publish is very difficult. We are inspired by the their creativity, respect for the environment, and quest for knowledge.
