This camp encompasses a challenging week of scientific investigation. Campers learn about biomimicry—taking inspiration from nature to solve problems. They explore marine habitats and amazing adaptations with hands-on activities on land, boat and canoe. Using scientific tools and concepts, campers will learn about innovation and invention; they will gain an understanding of how science is being used for the conservation and restoration of marine habitats. This action-packed camp includes a day of canoeing, a sleep-over on the Robert G. Brownleee, and a day on Angel Island.
